Day 2

Well here is the second poem ^.^ This is another one that I wrote last year. As of tomorrow, there will be poems that are written that day. ^.^

Tomorrow in Bethlehem

is were our story begins

In a modest stable

where believe it or not there was no cable

There were animals to witness the birth

of our savior now on earth

So remember that it doesn't matter

just how many visa cards you can shatter

or just who gets you something

and who doesn't

What really matters is the reason for this great season

which can't be found in ribbons, tags,

packages, stores or bags.

but can be found in each and every one of your hearts.

The love that is passed to each other that can be spread always

not just this time of year.

Remember that Jesus came to save you and me

and that his fathers gift of love

is the gift that set this holiday.

So may your Christmas be Merry

and your New Years, Happy

And I hope that everyone brings you Glad tidings

at this wonderful time of year.

Yea the rhyming scheme changed half way through. Not one of the better ones but hey *shrugs* lol.

That time of year again

Well it's that time of year again. Christmas that is. So my goal this year is to create a christmas peom a day and post it on here. I'll start with one that I've already written.

Every year we gather

round the Christmas tree

which sparkles and glitters

for all whom wish to see.

The presents are all wrapped

with delicate and utter care

sitting under the Christmas tree

with little room to spare.

But I find myself thinking

not wise I've known,

about the thing that's missing

the thing not shown.

The love that is shared

through out this day

is not found in all these bags

so listen while I say,

Christmas was found in a manger

where cattle low and horses neigh

where a tiny baby boy

fell asleep in the hay.

The only witness to this birth

was a few shepherds

who'd been watching their sheep

and with dirt and grime were peppered

The host of angels went to tell them

of the savior now on earth

to sing Gloria

in honor of this baby's birth.

This is a far different site

then our decorated tree

under which are happy presents

that sit there idly

Why not show God's love

in leaps and bounds

To the people who will listen

to people all around.

Remember this wonderful Christmas season

to bring good cheer

and to show love

all this year.

Hope you all enjoyed it ^.^

Exams

A hush falls over the class room as the teacher puts down the first paper on the first desk. All feet tapping and pencil tapping ceases as the students await for the exam that they are ether ready or sweating for. As the final exam is passed students are reading and writing a fast as they could. Only 2-3 hours to write and non want to stay after they have to.

That is what exam week is for most of us in High school. Exam week is the week that will pass or fail most graduates.

I am lucky in the sense that exams don't frighten me as much as they used to. Also all my exams this time is all based on common sense and not memorizing. For that I am good at.

So to anyone and everyone who has exams, I wish thee luck.

How I see

I've always loved to people watch. Sounds creepy I know but still. Did you know that if you watch two people walking side by side you can tell what type of relationship they have? Brother's walk the same. Sisters are close. A combo of the two is protective. Then there's romantic. You can tell what time of their relationship there in. Then there's my favorite. It's the older people who are still in their high school love. The look on their faces is just amazing to see. It's one of the looks that should be on the title page of all romance. No one but those who have been together over 30 years can perfect that look. It's one of those things that you have to see to know what i mean. You should try it. People watching that is.

Why

I've never understood why people feel the need to live life on the edge. When you ask them and then give them extrema examples they always say, "Oh that'll never happen to me" and when it does and they survive they always say, "But I survived so it's no big deal." Maybe I'm weired but to me it's a big deal. I understand taking risks is a natural part of life and I understand the need to sometimes see how far you can go but what I don't understand is why someone would put their life at risk. I really don't. They must ether be self centered or not all there in the head. It's not just them that's effected but rather anyone and everyone that is around them day to day. The stupid saying that some teens have now a days, "It's only illegal if you get caught," is just bogus! Grant it there are some laws that are bogus but in reality a lot of the laws that are put in place are put in place TO KEEP US SAFE!!!!! And stupid teens like us just can't seem to get that. It drives me nuts with that reality and I wish that people would learn from those who have lost their lives doing wrong, not just morn for them because if you don't learn then their deaths become pointless.

That's my little rant for the week.

Choices

Choices are everywhere you look. They’re in every minute of your existence. The dictionaries definition of choice is, “an act or instance of choosing; selection.” That means that you are making an act or instance every minute of the day.

You wake up. Already before your eyes are open you have a list in your head of what choices you have to make. Should I wear jeans or a skirt today? Well if it’s cold outside you would decide to wear jeans but if it’s warm then a skirt. So you have to choose whether or not to check the weather network. If you do decide to do so then you have to choose which method you’re going to use; radio, Internet, TV or simply walking outside. Once that is done you go back to your original dilemma, jeans or skirt. Then what colour and style do you want? After that you have to find a shirt that goes with that. Sweater or short sleeved? Then what colours do you want? Then you need to decide what to do with the mop you call hair. Up, down, partial up and partial down?

What’s really funny is that all of this can be decided with in, at max, a minute before you even open your eyes. All you have to do after that is go about doing what you chose. Go outside to find out what the weather is like. Then, if it’s cold, blue jeans with a white sweater and hair partial up and partial down. If it’s warm then a black pencil skirt with a pink tang top and a white blouse with hair partial up and partial down.

That is just clothes!

You’ve also got the whole food thing. Packed lunch or buy lunch. It packed then what to pack? Sandwich or TV dinner? If buy lunch then where to go and when you get there what do you want? There’s also what to drink which is really ridiculous. With coffee, by the time you’ve made all your decision the request is absurd. “Hi I’d like a non-fat, decaf, sugar free, non-sweeten late with a pound of whipped cream and sprinkles. Chocolate sprinkles.” See what I mean?

Then there is the life altering choices. You know the ones. They should not be taken lightly and should be given lots of thought. A few examples would be; what university to go to? What to major in? Should I be in a relationship now? Should I say yes or no to marriage/should I ask them to marry me? (Don’t get me started on wedding choices because I’d be here for the rest of my life) What job should I take? Do we want kids? What should we name the kids? When should I retire? What should I do after I retire? What can I do to make sure my family doesn’t have any debt when I’m gone?
At this moment I’m at a yield. I know what my plans are for the next year at the very least but that doesn’t mean that I am without choices. What should I pack and what should I leave behind? What job’s should I look for and how much time to I have for them? There are all sorts of choices that must be made and they must be made now. The only choices that is imminent. To chose or not to chose.

Hey ya everyone

Hey there people!!!!!!!!!!!

Well now let's see what should I talk about for my first entry. Well first off is that I have a horrible time updating things. It's really quite sad actually. The second is my reasoning for creating this blog. I figured that since I'm going away later, I didn't want to loose contact with people and I didn't want people to forget about me ^.^ So I decided that I was going to create this blog so people could know what's up with me. So ANYWAY I'm not going to write very much more now and I shall try to update next week ^.^
God bless
